We continue to renew our commitment to the contemporary artists and artmakers from the Caribbean region and our diaspora by actively listening to what is needed to develop and sustain their practice: in our space and internationally.

Partnerships with artist-led organizations, art galleries, institutions and individuals enable us to support Caribbean artists in an intentional and impactful way. Regional partnerships are particularly important to us at HOT SUN Caribbean Contemporary art as we seek to shift the gaze, to strengthen the relationships in our art ecosystem, to start looking to each other to build the systems we want to see, and open up Caribbean Possibilities across the Global South and beyond.

Since we started our journey HOT SUN CCA has been guided by values of community, dialogue, criticality, artist mobility, collaboration and the interconnected nature of these elements to Artists of our region and the sustainability of their practice.
